Dear Supporters
You will have noticed some yellow road signs with EA2 and arrows on them. Since the beginning of the year ScottishPower Renewables has been conducting preparation works such as archaeological investigations on the substation site and building a haul road from the Snape Road (B1069) to Grove Road, Friston for the construction of their first windfarm East Anglia Two Wind Farm. They seem to have opened the haul road for HGVs and Plant to use (hence the yellow signage), but have now closed Grove Road for 7 weeks due to relocating a mains water pipe and as per SPR’s notification below, ground investigation works.
SEAS will post these notifications as they come in, so you may track what is going on in the area.
