Traffic Management
To ensure the safety of both the public and our workforce, traffic will be managed by a single lane closure (eastbound), between the hours of 8pm-5pm, Monday to Friday. This will be controlled by three-way traffic lights. They will start on Monday 27th April and last approximately 6 weeks.
Scope of works
- 3000m2 of vegetation clearance
- 4m of kerb removal
- Removal of five existing bollards and installation of new removable bollards
- 70m of carriageway widening
- Installation of 75m of new kerbs
Please note, these activities form the first phase of the junction improvement programme. A second phase will be required to complete the resurfacing. This will be done at a later period, subject to SCC approval. Further updates will be issued once dates for the second phase are confirmed.
